Thank him for the support and the efforts that he is putting to ensure that the job gets done. Also, remind him that it is jour job and you want to make sure that you are capable of doing it and you want your supervisor/manager to acknowledge your performance so can learn and grow in this position to accept more responsibilities/promotions. If you need help, you'll ask him.

He can create havoc or sabotage your job by creating false narratives, like he is always cleaning up after you messed up while he is showing that he is helping and you are incapable of performing on the job. If he is not your mentor/supervisor/manager you can tell him to **** off.

Now if you take his stapler - HE will come to your HOME to get HIS stapler.


As time goes by - He will visit frequently and and YOU will become friendly - buddies , soul mates etc.

Maybe YOU and YOUR BOY will vacation together in Tobago . Surf and sand . Sunlight and twilight gazing.


Maybe open a car rental agency as a side hustle . Make lots $$$. Drink Latte . Eat Callaloo . Oysters with Sahenia etc.

Maybe date the SAME woman. Talk and laugh . Slap each other on the back . Laugh some more . Eat watermelon etc.


Then one day YOU meet HIM @ Ruby Tuesdays a.k.a Jaxx Ass De Place WITH the woman . Your woman !

She ugly but that NOT the issue .

It's the JOB.

The constant coaching . The paper work . The forms .


Then ALL that you TOTING ( a characteristic of T&T Peeps ) will explode - pipe gun pull out - biting and scratching with intent and YOU running like a "manicou" - and he slipping on blood and getting back up -and the woman bawling NO NO NO Duane stop it nah .. stoppppp !!!!

So just leave the stapler .

Thank him for his help in getting you set up for your new, and his former position. Firmly but politely assure him that you have it well in hand. Keep the relationship by requesting his future help if you need it, so he doesn't feel totally cut off.
