Related to the TPM issue or not?

My PC isn't compatible for it both my CPU and no TPM module. But I've tried it months ago with the preview build anyways so I ain't missing out anything.

yeah that's what i'm seeing so far. it would be cool if someone ported some of the windows 11 features into windows 10. there's one i'd like to have -- that pane that pops up when u go to the left of the screen.

My computer is compatible but nothing yet, maybe later this week. By chance did anyone get the update?

The list of supported laptops had me scratching my head. Not sure as to how it'll roll out to the PC people vs. the laptop people but my Aspire 5 with the R5 4500u is supported just waiting patiently on the update.

My hp i7-8550 is compatible but I tried installing at 4 am this morning and it is stuck at 98 percent ....wondering if it worth the upgrade at all, 10 is working perfectly fine tbh

Windows 10 support ends in 2025, meaning no more windows updates and security patches. So you all have a long time yet to decide for the switch by that time who knows there might be a windows 12.

I'm sure Microsoft will drop the mandatory TPM requirement before too long. Way too many PCs out there without it. I understand the move. They want to be seen as taking security seriously with a brand new OS but when they see a single or very low double digit percent uptake because the vast majority of uses don't have and are in no hurry to buy a new PC in order to have TPM in order to get the newest version of Windows, they'll backtrack.

Don't have a compatible CPU or TPM 2.0 support? Here's Microsoft's method to bypass its own security check.

So after using a Mac funny for a year I booted up my old windows laptop to see if it was eligible for Win11.

But holy balls, Windows is just an atrocious mess of an OS compared to macOS. Apple is just a smooth buttery super responsive machine.
