Yup, it's not about being minimizing the issue of systemic racism across the atlantic. I support that struggle.

My point of how easily things can get out of hand is when a goodly gentleman decided to put his hands on an officer. Completely unprovoked, and that could have ended very badly, but maybe that is what some were trying to do. Agent provocateurs, maybe?

To begin with flipping an officer a double middle finger is assault and is grounds for arrest as it is.
