I like how de news media does always portray these people as heros and patriots... Politicians and news media always like to jerk eachother...

I don't believe she was a scamp. She was just a hard case.

She did not buy weaves, wigs or set up bogus Bussiness

I don't get why she son making a big issue of her not becoming president. She was a politician, and of all our presidents , only 1 has ever been a politician. That was ANR "Moral and Spiritual Values" Robinson, and the PM who made him president regretted it after.

Carmona, Max Richards, Noor Hassanali, Ellis Clarke ..... none of these guys were ever politicians, just like Weekes. I don't see it that she was bypassed for president, it's more like she dreamed of being president , but given our country's history of usually choosing non partisan presidents, her dream could never have come true.

In PNM there is a glass ceiling for certain folk. Her last name says it all.

Or launder money, or walk in with 143K with no source, or defraud, or giggily hug a US president, or rack up a 56K phone bill, so I guess for being associated with the PNM fro so long, she was either very discreet, or very clean.
