Buy Serenade from agroshop.... Loaded with Bacillus subtilis.... Perhaps the most prolific bacteria... You good to go

If you want to add subtilis, add a handful of moist topsoil -- or human feces.

Good info so far guys.The problem we have been experiencing is a "cake" (hard layer) building up at the top causing it to block the soakaway inlet when the water rises.Chemicals are used sparingly but the guys from the truck said it doesn't have enough bacteria.

Well if you want to be sure about the bacteria,
Go by somebody with a functioning system and dip a few cups of liquid from theirs and put into yours
