I was told that the union had agreements in place to the 2030s that had a strangle hold on the co.
And in negotiations last year- refused to budge.
So the only way forward is to kill the company that the union has the agreements with.

Now hearings for the IRO have been adjourned to next Wednesday since Reginald Amour SC will be out of the country so this delays proceedings and if the two parties are ordered to return to the negotiating table will the NOV 30 date still hold?

To be honest though....let's be real I'm sure they know their people.

petrotrin 2.0?

Yes and no.

It will be state run and yes they are roping in their folks true, however I do believe the bulk of the work will be done by consultants as opposed to in house engineers and the labour provided by contract labour.

Those who are being brought in are probably the more senior or those deemed favourable to the regime or easy to work with.

I do believe the company will be relying more on the service companies for services rendered, a form of outsourcing if you will of the more technical tasks, however the lucrative labour contracts and provision of non-technical and general purpose activites and supplies will probably go to the select contractors.

Buddy the consultants would be "their people" and the contractors would be "their people"

There is no, no to the question of Petrotrin 2.0

where as the workers under petrotin would have their records in the company, available for audit, a separate consultancy firm will just have a bill to pay for services rendered...

Without OWTU the company will attract investors .

This was the plan from day one.

Sigh....you are right no argument here....

If that is the case though they will bottom out that company before 2020.

I saw some of "their consultants" I don't think they are worth it...they should just let the service companies do the heavy lifting, not that the service companies are angels....but.

Then people will buy less fish. Fishermen will get shaft from both sides due to Imbert. I believe the term for it is a "Colm Imbert Spitroast".

I didnt mean they would buy less to stand up for anything. I just mean they will buy less due to the increaesed price. Some people will decide that buyinf fresh fish not that high up on their list of priorities anymore. If thats the case fishermen will experience reduced income coupled with increased operaring costs (i.e. the Colm Imbert Spitroast)

What if Heritage is just a shell company with executives and management, all other labour will just be contracted out (from the chosen few contractors and labour suppliers) as needed. Hiring exercises were just a show.

Or maybe they just going to stall, like what they did with the Galicia until they get something they can palm off on the masses.
