Thats my 2nd cousin. Now really hearing the stuff that used to go on in that house. Child father used to beat her, family used to make comments bout 'she look for dat' and 'dat is love'. Really sad state. Im so angry about this. Zero support system. They were in a relationship since school days. She suffered extensive injuries, and one of her daughters witnessed it all and told police what she saw. Apparently he even told her yesterday that he was going to kill her. He is in custody.

January 1

12.04 am - Brandon Khan, also known as Chinee and Jundallah, killed in a shooting at Goodwill Street, Enterprise, Chaguanas. Five others were injured in that incident.

3.30 am - John Ramkissoon, 59, of Gopaul Trace, Longdenville, Chaguanas. Ramkissoon was chopped to death.

4 am - Lutchman Singh, 66, of Aranjuez, who was shot on December 24, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

7 am - Miguel Simmons, 20, killed at his home at Seventh Avenue, Malick, Barataria.

9 am - Nikkita Bascombe shot dead at Upper Mendez Drive, Champ Fleurs.

5.20 pm - Mark Bascombe, 44, shot at an Old Year’s party on December 31 at Bagatelle, Diego Martin and succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital on Monday.

January 2

8 am - Arisa Vana David, 25, strangled at her home at Lime Head Road, Old Southern Main Road, Chaguanas.

10 am - The body of an unidentified man found in bushes in Las Lomas. His throat slit was slit.

8.45 pm -Man shot dead at Lisas Gardens, Couva during drive-by shooting.
