I get that-but frankly with the state of play as it is.....is a momentary lapse of judgement -at a private moment of an individual worth the attention it gets?

She will be permanently sanctioned.
SM cannot be the arbiter of what makes front page pic----and a big pic at that.

So Anand Ramesar saying that the real culprit is the "third party" who posted the picture! He said that this is new territory and then admitted that a similar situation existed before but with a male police officer.
I am not hearing anything about how inappropriate the act was, the officers seem to know that they were posing for pictures...... most likely on a smart device..... and it could end up on the internet..... aren't they supposed to think forward this way? police intelligence must be an oxymoron! Apart from that, maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but, doesn't this suggest a proper review of their appointments be done? Is it possible that this is a result of favoritism, sexual harassment, exploitation....? And the sad thing is, the answer to these questions will be to fire the SRP and ban camera phones in the stations while everything else remains unchanged.
I wonder what we would see if/ when the body cameras are in full effect!
