drug overdose
alcohol and exhaustion overdose or
there was a struggle, she was strangled in a neck lock, got some cuts and bruises in the struggle. died quickly and silently behind a tree.

The body wasnt dumped there. She trusted someone who took her for a stroll through the savannah. Upon reaching the tree, they took the opportunity under the secludedness and darkness provided by the tree to try and get thru. She resisted and they lock her neck. Most likely 2 assailants. That or she got the lacerations from the tree itself in the struggle. But before they could get thru she suffocated and died. Sleeper hold turned into a full strangle. Murderer walked away easy and noone saw a thing.

Best bet is to examine and interview all those she was seen with before entering the savannah. The 2 fellas in the pic with her seem quite chummy.

Cctv footage from nearby businesses around the area may be quite revealing.
