THE GUYANESE wife of Lennox ‘Chin’ Gibson - whose three girlfriends met each other for the first time hours after he was gunned down - arrived in the country yesterday to claim his body. It is not known if his funeral will be held in Trinidad or back in his native Guyana.

Gibson was at the East Dry River home of a female friend on Sunday night when he was called out by a person and while standing in the porch of the house, was shot multiple times.

On Monday, while an autopsy was being done on Gibson’s body at the Forensic Sciences Centre in St James, three women visited the facility to collect the autopsy report and death certificate, not knowing that they each shared an intimate relationship with Gibson. After brief introductions, the three were seen in amicable discussions with each other.

Newsday was told that Gibson was a father of five with four of his children living in Guyana while the fifth resides in this country.

The autopsy later revealed that Gibson, who was trying to start a gypsum ceiling installation business, died as a result of shock and haemorrhage consistent with multiple gunshot wounds.

Newsday further understands that one of his Trinidad girlfriends is assisting his Guyanese wife with collecting his body. No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
