used to be like 3-4% depending on volume u buy now i think its like 2% - how d @ss dat making any sense

some sellers resort to selling from $20 up cards cause it not even worth ur time\energy & always have to provide change especially for $100 bill

only how it worth something is like said b4 u HOPING when ppl come for cards they see something else in ur place to buy ....

I appreciate the merchants who stop selling the phone cards because its not worth their time. The ones who continue to sell but make the decision to raise the prices beyond the stipulated price..you all just unethical!!

so is digicel. they just either not registered to collect VAT for the state, or pay taxes at a certain rate on sales to make it up.

most of the time you see these retailers trying to jack up the price on these type of things s because they did sheit wrt submitting the VAT collected. That tax doesn't belong to them, but plenty of them treat it like its their money to keep & spend.

& does be shocked & crap bricks when BIR inform them otherwise

TSTT gives you $20 of credit and the next $3 is VAT

DIGICEL is also VAT registered, you get $17.39 of credit and the $2.61 is VAt

It doesnt really matter if you pay 20 or 23 for the card...
It also doesnt matter if you put a "20" and get a 20, 40 or 1.
The rate per call and how they (service provider) decide your money is used up is what it all boils down to!

Can anybody really say they put a 20, make a call that lasted exactly 1 minute, and was charged the rate for 1 minute??

From what i understand...retailing phone cards has no profits...and the sellers are really just providing a convenience for prepaid phone users...

So...i personally wont pay more than MSRP....

but i guess....if u take a "bligh" and it finish and u really need credit to make a call...ur gonna have to buy the card where ever its available...even if it costs more....or you can just do without....
