Thing is that from the time customs has released the vehicle, all taxes have been paid and it's just a small fee to register at LO. Maybe that's why people get a "bligh", still might be better to tow the vehicle or use a wrecker though.

So then you should be allowed to drive without plates if you have a 1 day insurance tied to the chassis .. in theory
