Information was received at 10:54PM on Thu 1st March 2012, which is equivalent to "next business day".

exactly.... not only that, if people wanna do the driving school and maybe a lil test n tune,

why not be the bigger man and simply have the driving school and the test n tune on saturday, to assist those who want to run on sunday's drag n wind?

coordination n collaboration should be one of the goals we should be striving to achieve. the test and tune/driving school SHOULD NOT BE a spectator event....so the revenue lost at funds rec'd @ the gate should be abysmal in comparison to a normal sunday's event.

this way, the driving school could happen, whatever cars need to test & tune could be a possibility, and that way, for ONCE in the history of motorsports, that two different events of DIFFERENT bodies could have two events in one weekend.

in just a matter of weeks should be rally trinidad.... lets hope that those weekends are free to allow proper attention diversification among this months motorsport activities.

imo this would be a major "stripe" on TTASA's sleeve, if they would even consider something of the sort....

we've had test and tune on saturdays for all years of drag racing, this weekend shouldnt be any different. and they should also TRY their best to accommodate another event, and it should matter not WHO it is.

its simple....they ones with sense, do the right thing and influence others to do the same. new ppl come in, see the bullsh!t going on and don't know better and just end up 'goin with the flow'

cause that HAS to be the only reason. cause i most def havn't seen anything like it before... i mean i havent been to every event in the world, but yea some events might have a fun day, just for bragging rights, to say hey, lets all run strictly streetable tyres (not slicks) but its a FUN event, maybe to sort out some grudges....with some money on the line n stuff.... but not "Championship Competition"

a 40 treadwear Kumho Victo Racer tyre is not a slick, but can make the world of a difference compared to 280tw street tyres - do they allow no lower than 180tw?

alot of cars today can run big power on pump gas so stating no race gas is not as big of a dividing factor as it used to be IMO.

If they are checking for license, insurance and proof of certified copy then they should also check for inspection. No inspection sticker then no race.

exactly!! and for those cars that MIX fuel.... like half tank of pump fuel and 8 liters of C16... (just an example for an SR that runs 10s ) ....how on earth r u gonna ensure that PUMP fuel is used.... tyres are easily visible, nitrous bottles can be seen on inspection....
