This, from the time my dogs looking little under the weather, not eating etc. 2 cloves of garlic in some chicken skin(encouragement) ALWAYS does the trick. Been doing it for as long as i can remember.

I've actually been advised by my vet many many years ago to avoid giving garlic to your pets.

so...whats the real answer on the garlic thing?

saw some sites saying to use garlic powder instead of raw garlic because the garlic powder doesnt have the dangerous toxins that raw garlic has

any pet store has Endovet CES tablets

more likely you'll get the packs of four that look like a matchbook as shown on the right in the pic below

We used bravecto on the pup in Feb, but not the 2 mature Rotts.

The pup has only has baby ticks -a few inbetween the toes, the Rotts have had significantly less mature ticks on them.

Not sure if its coincidental but we havent sprayed the yard of used anything else-they all get a bath every 3 weeks or so.

Bathing dogs every 3 weeks will dry out their skin.
I bathe my dogs 3 times a yr. Maybe 4 depending on if they get muddy or dirty.

Under normal circumstances I would agree. However one of the rotts came with recurring skin issues ..really bad .and we use a homemade concoction of stuff my mother put together and it's been working for the last year almost.

Yeah normal big ugly frogs. They're called cane toads because they were originally released in cane fields to eat insects attacking the cane plants. I spray malathion to get rid of what they eat and by extension the frog themselves because they can harm the dogs and because they're just gross.
Anyone knows anything to kill them directly besides actually finding them and salting them?

If you find out, let me know.
I reached beyond the point of salt.Sometimes I literally have to grab them, and fling over the wall into the ravine before my dogs get them.

Have a couple in my yard, I take the shovel and fling them in the big drain out front. not a major issue. My doggo leave them alone. The flea problem I have is caused by stray dogs and cats in the area.
