YES it is illegal. Just because many people have it doesn't mean it's legal. Then again this is Trinidad, once one person drives on the shoulder, everyone thinks it's ok.

We have it installed at our home though, on the top of the walls, not the actual gate.

If someone had a reason to be up there though and gets shocked, the owner of the home would be in trouble, not that anyone would have a reason to be up there though, but I'm just passing on the information.

I think I read in the express that the fence only gives something like a continuous 9v shock if you touching it, so it will just make you not want to touch the fence/get off the fence rather than electrocute u

i hope what ABA Trading says about the fence is true.
It does serve its purpose though, i was told that the property doesn't have an intruder problem anymore...
