what's up with this "Flash Mob" phenomenon?

first time i herd about the term 'flash mob' this is what i imagined, an abrupt fast paced robbery by a group of people, not a sudden out break of dance and song.

Yeah but the "flash mob dancing" has been out for years, this robbery thing that the news reporters came up with on the spot is just a flop name for it.

imagine in after work traffic on wrightson road if level sealots and beetham residents start walking between cars begging for money by the dozens. they shout outside your window that they want 20 dollars and if you say no, they say they want your jewellery/cellphone etc instead. If you still resist, they tell you some kinda mindfu.ck like they know where you live or what street you work on. that sheit is damn scary.
