Dude you rock.

But I won't play games on a weak video card I usually play on atleast a Radeon HD 4850 for true 1080P resolution and high settings.

But I have a question here, what about software is there like the same thing with ports for PC software to MAC?

If possible... I can see myself owning a Mac.

Popular software is native on MacOS X and a lot are 64bit now or getting there (like Adobe CS5).

Games you can get Mac native, cider ports (which I play) and even though Boot Camp, running Windows on your Mac.

There is nothing you can't run on your mac.

I have both....I've designed and Created motion graphics etc on both.

Macs were better design tools back in the early 90s when they offered a better color pallet than available on windows.

Apple laptops use inferior screens in comparison to whats available on similarly priced windows machines. They are both PCS...

I experience faster render times on my windows machines with adobe aftereffects as well as capabilities to deal with larger project files than I can on my mac pro. And my windows rig is not even running windows 7. I'm currently building a video editing rig running windows 7 and CS5.

I'm a heavy multitasker, i usually have 10+ tabs open, Outlook, Illustrator, Photoshop and sometimes 3D studio max open all at the same time and my machine remains responsive.

Wssssssstop.

CS4 on the Mac was s-l-o-w. It was a 32-bit app, on a 32/64-bit OS which could only address 4GB of RAM while the OS had to manage the other 28GB on behalf of CS4's scratch. Epic fail.

CS5 on Snow Leopard is just 64-bit gigidy-gigidy-goodness.

(Only think I'm pissed about is Adobe's slow transition and lack of support for all calculation renders. In which case you need to run in 32-bit mode to get it).

With that said, spec for spec, Snow Leopard and Windows 7 performs the same. But the difference between the two is having a creative design environment vs a render rig.

Artists with get what I'm saying. Editors will not.

As i said...its all preference. I work seamlessly between both platforms. At the end of the day they are both tools. Its up to the end user to make the best of it.

A poor artist blames the brush

Which is my end result.
There is no "better" system.

But there is one that will be better suited for you
