Because this is Nissan country.

There are more X-Trails, B12, B13, B14, B15, B16, Wingroads, Frontiers/Navaras, Cifero etc than other brands.

Imagine the worst built, slowest, classless, saftey-failure vehicles are the most popular. And everywhere else they are known as the 'cheap brand' yet Trinis is call big price because people like to buy what de ghetto man driving.

Hey the alternator bearing for the xtrail was purchased where cos this sounds like a N&M price cos Im looking for a bearing myself and this sounds really high for a bearing but I need assistance, cos the noise is annoying and really cant afford my trail to be down cos Its my job.

Any assistance will be appreicated

Can't you take the alternator bearing to United Bearings and Equipment Agencies Limited (Barataria or San Fernando) and get an equivalent SKF or NTN bearing at a much lower price?

I am sure your auto electrician should be able to disassemble the alternator to get out the bearing. You should take the original bearing with you so that they can check the size and provide you with an equivalent one.

The auto manufacturers don't make their own bearings anyway. They purchase from OE suppliers such as SKF.
