While you had very valid points, you really cannot throw all women be them balck or brown or white into either one or the other of those categories.

You will find that sometimes Woman A will embody qualities of Woman B.. Like for example if a good man comes around.. she will become that loving person that Woman B is.

You will find sometimes Woman B might fell a lil wrong and strong and take on the independent don't need a man kind of attitude that Woman A has.. esp if she was recently hurt by someone.

But added to that you will also find qualities in both, give or take the degree to which you find them, that have nothing to do with what you listed. And that is what makes each woman different and a treasure to hold.

I believe that the right man can warm the heart of any woman.. be them Woman A or Woman B... and I've seen it happen.

The problem with Halle though.. is she most definitely makes choices that are bad for her.. or not in her benefit. And she ends up finding out too late in the relationship. Many of us are like that, we ignore the bad parts of a person through the whole infatuation stage, because the good parts feel sooooo good.

And when the sh!t hits the fan is then we see the person for who they really are. (This applies to both males and females)

The local media (USA) has of late become fascinated by the number of single black women in the United States. The black community has also perpetuated this fixation by trying to rationalize this "phenomena".

With Halle Berry, considered one of the most beautiful black women in this country, now being part of the fold of single (and lonely) black women, the discussion is such that if looks are not enough to keep a man around then it appears the problem lies with black women.

Since interracial dating has become more popular amongst black men and the very same black man using his dating experience with non-black women to compare it to that of black women.

As has been evident time and again, even in this thread and on this forum, the woman is blamed for everything. From failed relationships to excuses for horning and domestic violence, the fault is placed on the woman.

I agree that if a woman is constantly picking the wrong guy that she has to look at herself. Even I've had to do that in my own life recently but I do think that the man's behavior or contribution to the problem isn't addressed as much as it should be.

Even if Halle, or any other woman for that matter, is "certifiable", that doesn't give anyone the right to cheat on her or put their hands on her and then place blame on her to excuse your (the man) actions or rationalize her singlehood.

Men will always continue to be percieved as players, mainly because, most men dont have the time to waste on the emotional games, tricks, etc. that most women have built in from the factory.

Men are practical beings, and as such, they will continue to hunt until a suitable mate is found.
If they are threatened by a woman because of the factory inherent defects as stated above, they will move on to another model, and so on, and so on.

Women, for the most part (eg AP) arent comfortable in their own skin and are reliant heavily on having a man that does what they want, went they want , and how they want. They also use the kitty as their bargaining chip knowing that the hunters are going to work for it.
that of course lasts only for a while unless the hunter has found sustainable comfort on varying levels from any one female.

basically it still comes down to the fact that females who belive that the space in between their legs are their powers will always be unhappy.
the females that realise that the use of the space between their ears is key, have limitless boundaries & will lead more successfull lives personally and otherwise.

And I could also use this time to generalize black men, yourself included, but I won't. You know why? Because not all black men are cut from the same cloth and I refuse to use the experiences of a few to castigate the whole lot.

The same should apply for black women. But seeing how you decided to box black women in either/or of the above categories, I wish to clarify:

Not all of us demand or expect a man to take care of us and pamper our every need. It isn't always about money. What it is about is stepping up to the plate and being able to handle their business. How can you expect a woman to be understanding (for years on end) of a man who has yet to show he can take care of his and a household? How can you expect a woman to be OK with having a man who always has some excuse to not advance himself educationally or socially, or one who is still trying to figure out his life at age 30?
