same way the US using their versions (not Prado) for escorts....

Robustness. In an emergency situation they shud be able to plough thorugh almost anythign that "obstructs" them...

If you have the opportunity to see the SAUTT vehicle training (most Energy Companies like BG, BP, REPSOL drivers have to do it) you'll understand why.

DOnt underestimate the drivign skills of those Escort drivers...my eyes were really opened to the skill level.

They'll put alot of our Dex drviers to shame.

the prado vx with the 1kdftv feels alot better than the older ones with the 1kz. it carries the same engine as the new hilux with a front mount IC. the vehicle is more responsive due to the change with regard to the injector drivers, it now carries a feat to recalibrate the injectors ever so often to maintain optimum perfomance, which is done by the use of the toyota IT. the LC's which you guys are refering to is much wider than the vx and has a long wheel base i tink, the is the ones the sautt has and ramesh and a few of them others rocking with, they carry a v8 twin turbo direct injected diesel engine, these vans really quick. worked on a few of them. i addition to these engines they carry a hydraulically controlled stablizer bar system for maximum driver and psg comfort. really nice vehicles but not in my price range
