there are two sets of ports (one for psn and one set for blackops)
Give the ps3 a static ip on your network.
You can also reserve the IP you set for your ps3 on your router in its User Interface (usually accessed through 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1)
the DNS servers he used in the video are from openDNS.com
Theyre pretty good.
Anyway, using this, my nat type is now open, and we did get much better connections to games last night than in the past.
You can also give your ps3 unrestricted access to the net by setting it as a DMZ (demilitarized zone) but I dont see the need for it if you forward the right ports
