TTCB rep robbed outside bank
By Susan Mohammed
Story Created: Feb 7, 2013 at 10:04 PM ECT
Story Updated: Feb 8, 2013 at 9:26 AM ECT

THE Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) was robbed of US$8,000 and $10,000 in local currency yesterday.

The TTCB's executive administrative assistant Allyson Ali was robbed of the cash minutes after exiting a bank at Couva.
Ali told police that around 12.25 p.m. she had withdrawn the cash from an account of RBC at JTA Complex, Southern Main Road.
She returned to her car and was on the way to Scotia Bank, a short distance away, when a man smashed her window. Ali told police the thief grabbed her purse in which she had the cash and ran off. He escaped in a car waiting down the street. PC Mark Phillips of Couva Police Station is investigating.

What you guys think.....corrupt bank teller or these bandits psychic an they know your business before you know your business? Couldn't the Cricket Board provide some kind of security here. Surely this points to an inside job!

LOL...Dat was embarrassment. Even Gayle look like he couldn't cope, yuh eh see de man pick up ah "injury" all of ah sudden?...

But, I honestly expect them to win the lone 20/20 on Wednesday. That's the only form of the game in which they've remained competitive against the top class opposition. However it's only a matter of time before the latter figure out the formula and relegate W.I. to the bottom of the heap. The fans should enjoy it while they can.

Paks. just couldn't maintain the pressure with SA taking Test.
WI ladies couldn't get 2nd win against Aussies and therfore got 'runners-up' position in tournament.
Compliments to the ladies for making finals and having us all take note,I must admit womens cricket has certainly come to the front for many like myself.

so DJ Bravo is the skipper for the ODI series against Zimbabwe.... anyone going Grenada for the 3 ODI games?

Gayle and Sammy rested... well Gayle is really taking part in the BPL.

Congrats are in order to Sarwan for achieving a 'TON' today.
I must however must admit that he still appears to have some work to do to return to the kind of classy form expected.
On another note the performance of Dhoni in achieving a double and put the Aussies to the sword was really worth the loss of sleep and I am now worried about tonite's investment of precious sleep I may make, particularly since I am due to be at the Passport office for 6.00 am.India now has a 1st inning lead inexcess of 100 on a wicket that appears to be crumbling.
