THE Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) was robbed of US$8,000 and $10,000 in local currency yesterday.
The TTCB's executive administrative assistant Allyson Ali was robbed of the cash minutes after exiting a bank at Couva.
Ali told police that around 12.25 p.m. she had withdrawn the cash from an account of RBC at JTA Complex, Southern Main Road.
She returned to her car and was on the way to Scotia Bank, a short distance away, when a man smashed her window. Ali told police the thief grabbed her purse in which she had the cash and ran off. He escaped in a car waiting down the street. PC Mark Phillips of Couva Police Station is investigating.
What you guys think.....corrupt bank teller or these bandits psychic an they know your business before you know your business? Couldn't the Cricket Board provide some kind of security here. Surely this points to an inside job!
