I believe all scripture should be taken literally unless where it is figurative

That is just pseudo-intellectual babble. That's like saying "all truths should be considered as true, except where proved false", or "this bar is closed due to the fact that it is no longer open".

What would be interesting would be an explanation on his part as to how he differentiates the two (literal/figurative writing) and on which authority does he do so... as their only accepted source of information is the self-same scripture. Will he state that the scriptures reveal themselves to him? Whatever answer he gives, it will either be someone else told him, or he was divinely inspired to do so. This could get very interesting...

he guides me into all truth and there is

The only thing I thread is a needle... I have NO idea what you are talking about - skipping your meds again, aren't you?
As far as capability is concerned, I think the problem would more likely be your incapability to learn - as evidenced by each thread you have posted in - rather than anyone's teaching ability. You can't pour water into an upside-down glass.

The problem regarding personal revelation mainly arises when this private revelation is made public AND IS THEN CONSIDERED BY ITS RECIPIENT AS BEING OF THE SAME WORTH TO ALL AS AN ARTICLE OF FAITH. (Sometimes when God whispers in your ear, it's because He had something to tell you only for your personal benefit...) However, since we are dealing with a character who, since his ingrown toenail removal surgery, has started offering his services as a surgeon based on his personal experience, I realise you may not be able to differentiate between private and public revelation.

With this in mind, observe how it seems to appear to an onlooker:

The answer to this is found in the scriptures... the same writings explained to you by the voice of which is proved by the writings it helped you interpret...

I suspect you consider every happenstance in your favour to be a direct revelation from God - and conversely, any concept held by someone whose view differs from yours is evil/demonic in origin, and any unfortunate occurrence that happens to them is attributed to divine punishment. Fanaticism ensures that logic cannot function in the mind of the zealot.

Ummmm... you do realise that if God does exist, and this does happen, it will defeat the whole purpose of this existence, right? If you had proof that God exists, then faith would be useless, unnecessary. Finally, your constant PRESUMPTION. Theologians have stated very clearly through the ages that the 'sins against the Holy Spirit' consist of two forms: Despair and Presumption.
These two sins are against the Holy Spirit because they DENY the action and influence of God in the lives of men. Despair is committed by those who are convinced that they are beyond the reach of God and will never enter His presence. Presumption is the opposite of this, and is committed by those who are certain and adamant they are going to God's presence (whether He likes it or not ).

In conclusion, I strongly advise you to return to whatever schooling you seem to have strayed from; pay closer attention to your betters; practise humility; and try to fully understand that you are here to witness - not preach, especially you as you are - and practise brotherly love... not this presumptuous, inanity-ridden crap you persist to spew.
