Mind you more 99** series phones brick more than Torches, but carry on.

And you recommending a phone cause he'll look "baller"

Woke up yesterday morning, To a unresponsive 9930 with the Led Blinking constantly. Not connecting to the pc. Battery pull not working. The phone isnt turning on or connecting to the laptop. I think it's dead. Ayone ever found a solution to this. I'm searching online for a solution now.

baller amongst other things, u have bricked stats in yur pocket to dispense, well share, no torch cud outperform any bold, bolds tend to be more sturdy phones, but its up to him, i cud tlk bcuz i've had all 9810 before then 9900, torch wud switch off & start bk as it plz

I agree that the bolds are the best right now. But I don't like the bricking problem with 9900/9930.

I'd prefer a 9790. Almost the same specs but I havent heard of any issues with it like the 9900/9930

Had the beta version a while now but only tried voice with the official release, and tbh it's as if you're on a regular call. Blows away stuff like Viber etc to me.

I've used it succesfully today and all my outgoing calls went through perfectly. Very clean, very clear, stable connection.

If you can afford the 9860 go for that instead, the slide function of the 9800/9810 includes one more potential problem of the flex cable giving you problems in the long run.

Provided you're not one to want a physical keyboard from time to time.
