That ODPM exercise yesterday highlighted that Trinis become senseless in an emergency.
I happen to live off of Pasea Main Road where they were diverting East Bound traffic. Yesterday during the exercise as the local roads [Pasea MR, Centenary Street, Bharath Street] became congested to the point of gridlock people started driving on the pavement as well on the wrong side of the roads.
It also highlighted why it is important to enforce the no parking restrictions and time bound no entry rules which exist only in road signs on Pasea Main Road and some close by local roads.

Trust me, when the police tackle those errant drivers who love to park and block up that road........it is met with stiff opposition from the idiot residents and the drunks who patronize the bars.
