NTA announces constituencies it’s contesting for General Election

The National Transformation Alliance (NTA) has announced its intention to contest ten constituencies in the upcoming General Election. Political Leader Gary Griffith will run in one of these seats, with the remaining nine candidates to be revealed by the end of September.

“We recognize the overwhelming support for the NTA in these Constituencies and view this as a crucial step in our journey toward National Transformation as we prepare for the General Election,” Griffith said in a statement.

The NTA leader also observed that another political party has adopted campaign colours similar to those of the NTA, a significant shift from its previous colour scheme.

Griffith remarked: “It’s clear that the NTA’s influence is making waves in the political scene. Whether they’re trying to mimic us or create confusion, it just shows how impactful we are.”

The constituencies the NTA will be targeting are:

– San Fernando West

– La Horquetta / Talparo

– Tunapuna

– St. Joseph

– Toco / Sangre Grande

– Moruga / Tableland

– Mayaro

– Pointe-a-Pierre

– Chaguanas East

– Barataria / San Juan

UNC’S STRATEGIC MOVES: SECURING 10 VITAL CONSTITUENCIES FOR A 25-SEAT VICTORY IN THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTIONS
The UNC Headquarters was bursting at its seams on Sunday 1 September as co-ordinators, activists, and the National Executive assembled in a General Elections Preparation Meeting to secure the 10 most critical constituencies in Trinidad.
These are:
−San Fernando West
−La Horquetta / Talparo
−Tunapuna
−St. Joseph
−Toco / Sangre Grande
−Moruga / Tableland
−Mayaro
−Pointe-a-Pierre
−Chaguanas East
−Barataria / San Juan
In an impressive show of strength, Constituency coordinators and activists reported to the Political Leader, the Hon. Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC, on their states of readiness, mobilisation, and the capacity of the party machinery in each of these strategic seats.
The UNC’s impressive show of strength in each of these seats reflects months and years of dedicated work on the ground, in dialogue with the people, meeting them in every nook and cranny, bonding with them, face-to-face in their homes, their communities, their places of worship, their social activities.
As the Political Leader declared, “It is not money that will win the next elections, but the love, affection and trust built between our candidates and the people that will win!”
In 2020, the UNC were only 2,530 votes away from winning Government, in only two constituencies: St. Joseph and San Fernando West. On Sunday, the UNC demonstrated with the utmost clarity that it has not only closed that gap, but it has advanced much further.
All 10 vital Constituencies have been battle-tested and proven in the 2023 Local Government Elections, which the UNC won convincingly. These seats are now ready to be secured by the UNC for a 25-seat victory at the next General Elections.
The palpably energised gathering was addressed by the Political Leader, Hon. Kamla Persad-Bissessar; Elections Officer, Arnold Ram; National Campaign Manager, Feeroz Khan; Manifesto Committee Chair, Dr. Tim Gopeesingh; and Party Organiser, Barry Padarath, to ensure that the good news of the United National Congress is spread as a beacon of hope in our country which has been made to suffer almost a decade of PNM backwardness, corruption, and crime.
This is the first of a series of events that will continue to strengthen the party over the months ahead.
Meetings will be held regularly to cover all constituencies, monitor their progress, and to make strategic decisions, based on the constant flow of information being actively gathered from the ground.
Brighter days are finally ahead for Trinidad and Tobago, as the sun is about to rise on the horizon, and the UNC is actively mobilised to win the next General Elections.

As I said last week

eliteauto wrote:When the bell rings all zandolie will find their hole, it will be an amalgamation vs the PNM, call it PPV2. Right now it's all posturing, ego, and theatrics

See any similarities? Does this imply an accommodation between the NTA and the UNC? Does this explain the OWTUNC colours of their new party clothing?

*No orange in the jersey though

A little dose of humility and decorum has no place in local politics, huh.
But the two of them cannot coexist in the same space. Goes back to that old adage about two man rat can't live in the same hole.

^why don't the people who put out that meme instead campaign for policies that would limit legal expenditure procurement, or at least remove it from the discretion of kamla or rowley.

that is what i don't get about None-of-The-Above (NTA) people. just saying NO to everybody isn't productive. put support behind what ideas and policies you want and so there is some political capital at stake. If it is popular, one of the two parties will have incentive to add it to their platform.

kamla is running a big tent platform this year.
there is room for everybody under her tent

It's pathetic to see where the UNC has fallen to. From the titans of Panday, Ramesh, Humphrey, Sudama, Sadiq, Jack and others, to these spineless sycophants and freaks. This is what we are being asked to accept.

When the undecided abstain, the PNM superior grassroots mobilization will ensure their victory. The sycophants and influencers and rumshop political commentators don't understand this simple concept.

Call everyone dumb PNM voting ninjas for 5 years, then surprised they can't pull undecided voters.

UNC method to woo swing voters?- cut dub plate with Swanny and boy boy as if them yutes actually coming out to vote
