as soon as i saw Lemina and Asamoah i knew the midfield would struggle. we need Pjanic in for Lemina and Pjaca or Cuadrado to come in. the midfield moving in slow motion atm

Pjanic came in too late. Infact, he was supposed to start. Can't have Asamoah and Lemina playing together. Sigh.

We need Marchisio back asap.
With the talent we have on the flank, we can deploy a 3-4-3

Barzagli/Benatia, Bonucci, Chiellini
Alves, Khedira, Pjanic, Alex Sandro
Cuadrado Higuain Dybala

On defense he could be better but going forward he is a real dangerous man. Can whip in a good cross too. Had an opportunity to score yesterday too.

I was expecting that.

At Barca be seemed horrible when it comes to crossing. Alyuh had/have no height in the box to attack them crosses. Messi like a bok. Suarez and Neymar etc ain't no tall men. We have Mandzukic, Khedira, Bonucci, Chiellini, Benatia. All tall men who does connect on the end of an Alves cross. Watch at least 1 Juve game and you will see for yourself.

Alves is perfect for Mandzukic who is a beast in the air.

Heard someone say Man U thought they were getting a box to box midfielder but instead they got a barber to barber midfielder...

This is the thing.
We went after Cuadrado to waste him on the bench. With the players we have in the squad we can easily run a 4-3 and anything else (-3 or -1-2 or 2-1).
The 3-5-2 is no longer our go to winning formation and formula.

Away at Dinamo Zagreb today. Hoping to see a back 4 being fielded since we have two centre backs, Rugani and Benatia out through injury. Makes no sense to deploy a back 3 and have no subs.

Allegri gone with a back 3. If one of BBC gets picks up a knock we have no subs for them. Steups.

Subs: Neto, Alex Sandro, Lemina, Sturaro, Cuadrado, Pjaca, Mandzukic.
Imagine we have a seasoned UCL scorer like Mandzu on the bench. Team is stacked.

Pjanic, Higuain, Dybala, Alves freekick ended up in the net (own goal).
4-0. Commanding victory.

Hernanes kept it simple. Didn't try to overdo it.
We need to see more of Cuadrado, even in the midfield role that he played when he replaced Pjanic to start the second half.
