Is it normal for someone to be charged for insurance on an item which they didnt request?

As far as I know on the website it says upon request it's 1.5% the value and an invoice must be submitted to them to get the insurance. None of that was done

It has been submitted for query. A vat value of $450 was charged on that same package

Give the company a call. Websource normally fixes most of my concerns. I think it's 1usd per every 100usd not including LCDs and a few other items. That is subject to change based on the company you use

Happened to me once, the calculated VAT and duty was higher than the value of the item

They corrected the amount by deducting it from future invoices since I was a cc customer

This was e-zone btw

Not sure if this was covered before, but

Websource does not offer returns/RMA shipping (i.e. they don't ship products back overseas if it's defective and needs to be returned). They instead redirect you to IBC.

I believe Aeropost recently offers a service to return items within a month period free of charge, however I've not inquired about this personally.

You know what's the ocean freight charges by chance. Not seeing it on the site. And can anyone tell me what's a good ocean freight service? Wanna order some rotors and pads and they weigh about 50lbs... Very bad for skybox shipping!

Do any of the services you all use consolidate items for personal use?
The service I have been using for years has put a stop on it and I am in a market for a new one, recommendations would be appreciated.

Thank you.
I don't mind paying such a small fee, will definitely look into your recommendation.
