Folks, I saw a marcy iron gym and a weider 2250 home gym in my quest to create a home gym. Hoping to get some owner feedback on these to see which is best or necessary. Want to get a punching bag and some kettlebells too. Alltrac, I eh forget the bodylastics gear, pooling resources with a friend.

If it's built like other weider stuff, it aint too bad.

I got a weider 4300 pro and a weider decline bench, good quality. My only beef with it is that the cables tend to stretch a bit over time, but you have plenty adjustments to make. The overhead pulldown bar got stripped of the PTFE coating on mine, probably due to bad usage.

I saw the marcy, in courts I believe and the build quality is not the same, the guage of steel looks thinner, and I just find it looks cheap.

Now the weider is also cheap stuff too, compared to the big names, but the quality is better than the marcy.
