Two shot dead by FUL holder during botched robbery in Santa Cruz

A female getaway driver and a male accomplice were fatally shot by a licensed firearm holder during an attempted robbery in Santa Cruz early Friday morning.

Information reaching the Ian Alleyne Network indicates that the woman died at the scene, while the male suspect succumbed to his injuries at hospital.

The incident occurred just after 5 a.m. along La Pastora Road near Bienvenue Avenue.

This story will be updated as more details become available.— Story by Ian Alleyne Network

the thing is SYG wont apply in these cases if it was not private property and the law not even passed yet- so unless female driver herself was armed and threatening to shoot, could the FUL holder face a charge for shooting her?

Not in T&T , before, during or after SYG ...long before now any bandit is fair game, police tends to help with your statement.. "fearing for my life I ponted my firearm in the direction"....

The FUL holder actually did the community a good here. These individuals are known pests who are involved in alot of robbery, car theft, guns and ammunition possession, etc.
They've been known to speak openly about being protected by certain police officers in authority.

My opinion....kill them out. My family was personally affected by the actions of these individuals so no remorse for them.

My concern is Where is Poo Bear in this whole scene?

And what if the bandit is protected by high ranking police officer/officers? Would the police still help with your statement "fearing for my life I pointed my firearm in the direction....."?

These pests are the same ones or associated with the same one who, after a robbery somewhere his phone fell out his pocket when he fled, only for the police to find it, see a picture of him and his girlfriend as the Screensaver and he still walked into the police station a day or 2 after retrieved his phone normal, with nothing coming out of the whole situation.

These individuals are from the Santa Cruz community and often even share pictures with others in the community of themselves with all different kinda firearms, from hand guns to rifle types.

So not everything is as it seems with crime in trinidad. Law enforcement is part of the crime as well.
