muller had 3 assists in addition to the 5 goals , everybody else had one, dais why he get the golden boot...he also get the best young player award...and germany also finished with the most goals 14.

i think Jesus Navas played really well,he was a big part in the scoring of the goal.

Apparently the tie-breaker is the number of assists you make, and apparently daz Muller.

i tort was your average that made the difference, Mueller's average was 0.8, David Villa, Sneijder & Forlan had 0.7

Nuff respect to Diego Forlan for winning the Golden Ball. He carried Uruguay on his shoulders at times during the World Cup.
I had him as captain of my fantasy team.

according to fifa's castrol ranking index,
the player of the tournament and best defender was sergio ramos,
best attacker was david villa,
best midfielder was Wesley Sneijder
and best goal keeper was Manuel Neuer.
