Aranjuez/St.Joseph might be very tight. Terrence is not very popular right now and there are many alternative choices available for voters.
Time for Terrence along with PNM by extension to take a rest. After covid he really hasn't said much both in the constituency and as minister of health.

the last rally had Stuwatee opened the speech by talking about spending $20 B to save CLICO and asking the crowd of PNM grassroots supporters if they have their NIF shares still.

I not knocking Stuwatee, but he is way out of touch with the base of the party. Faris, Richie, etc, not really making him more connected to the base. The others talking about giving up ham and going back to coalpot, besides the political picong, really showing nobody on the executive side of the PNM is in touch with the actual base.

I say again, I am not knocking him, but just pointing out how they trying to connect to a group of people that they don't know and neither does that group know them.

I just want to share this image that floating around.

Again leaving out the picong, this is not normal for the PNM. I repeat: this is not normal for the PNM.

The base not feeling it. They are not

ALL IN

with the new leadership. This not going to be fixed until Penny comes in a does a hard reset of the party from the grassroots-upwards.

The last we heard of Terrance in his constituency was when he was robbed.

the fedup factor is very real for sure but by nature only a minority will come out and say so publicly

i think ppl seeing the cheap shots they trying
eg paria $1m, stuey grocery bill

too bad the unc doesn’t have a proper media plan to capitalize on the many faux pas’ and crime issues

if was me i would do a full media series on the number of high profile home invasions alone
there is so much video footage of them
there would be no way the pnm could respond to dat

Those pics fake. Come nah man. You self that is when the meeting now start. Show us the pics when the meeting was at full capacity. Pnm bury Zander in Tunapuna last night. He eh recovering from that.

Done tell ya. The base aint winning no election. Pnm does win in their constituency by too wide a margin. Even if the base disenchanted, UNC have to get 5-6 thousand votes in those seats just to make it even close. It ultimately don't matter.

What I telling you is that the middle class and swing voters looking like they leaning towards Young and the PNM.

We eh start to talk about place like Mayaro and Moruga/Tableland that may suffer an anti Kamla vote. A piece of Moruga/Tableland even went PNM in a by election recently I believe.

All them bright and middle class people u seeing in pnm is eat ah food people . Them gone for the links. Like gypsy , kiss ass fir contract.

Pnm strongholds not moving , might see a small shift here and there but nothing to note.

The fight is in the marginals ,, is if pnm people fed up enough to stay home.

Then Tobago.... U not sure if the THA elections sentiment gonna carry over to these two seats.

Zoom say Tobago gone blue... We will see.

It will be nice to see two Tobago mp in parliament.

2 Tobago pnm real quiet imo.

You mean the Tobago race that also have Watson Duke and the PDP in it?

The last election when Duke contest he get lix from the PNM. That was a straight two horse race. Now Farley and TOP have to fight both PDP and PNM and Tobagonians eh happy with Farley and them?

Pnm Tobago base eh move and they motivated to come out and vote in Tobago this rounds.

In all fairness to Mikela. Something as touchy and costly as the refinery should be something carefully considered and not politicized. She’s smart not to promise anything.

About the 2 seats in Tobago, there is the possibility that the anti-pnm vote might split between Farley's TPP and Duke's PDP giving PNM the win. While Duke has support, Farley will more than likely prevail since he is already in the THA and Tobagonians are already familiar with his governance.

Is either 2-0 TPP or 1 TPP - 1 PNM.

PNM support is more concentrated in one Tobago seat than the other.

It is possible 1-1 if the vote splits.

2-0 for the PNM is unlikely, especially with

(1) the crime issues in Tobago of late, and
(2) the cancellation of the UK visas (which is definitely an issue for Tobagonians)

The more difficult seat for PNM to win is Tobago east that Duke contesting and lost in 2020 when he was most popular. Now it's a 3 horse race. The vote not splitting against PNM.

Apparently redress enjoyed the past NINE grueling years under this government, saw absolutely nothing wrong and to him they met their targets while the rest of citizens have a problem with how they handled the country's affairs.

Was the UNC candidate for St Joseph name? To win an election you still need a good campaign. UNC campaign aint good. Saddam beat probably the weakest pnm candidate in Barataria with JW. That was only a thousand votes. The UNC has been losing votes consistently for the pass couple elections. That is going to be worst this election. This is easiest the weakest the UNC has ever been against a very strong PNM

UNC drop the ball this election
