Light winds and high moisture associated with the passage of Tropical Wave 38, the ITCZ, and Tropical Depression 13's influence combined with strong daytime heating triggered strong showers and thunderstorms across T&T.

Additional activity forecast through the evening with showers and thunderstorms across both islands.

These thunderstorms may produce damaging wind gusts, flooding rainfall, dangerous lightning and power dips.

This is really severe weather. Flash flooding for sure, and riverine overflow by tmrw morning high tide (5:32pm and 5:38am) if it continues this way. This has a feeling like October 2018.

ODPM should have issued a bulletin by now and warned people to not travel in flood waters and take immediate action to protect life and property. Whoever on the roads try to get somewhere safe as soon as possible! Better to park in high ground and wait a day than lose your vehicle/life in flood waters.
