WI needed to win by 5-0 to gain 5 ranking points, a 4-1 series victory would give them only 1 point...
I'm so dissapointed

i somehow have the feeling that australia may do something special... but south africa wows. to sustain a run rate of over 5 per over for 111 overs is insane. 569 in 111.5 overs is just crazy.

and west indies picked a really shitty side. im actually backing bangladesh now to give them 5-0. and imagine they are without their best play sakib.

I think WI need to drop the specialist spin bowlers for some Fasties. The Bang. train win mostly spin bowlers. Why give them what they know?

narine has been bowling poorly, dunno what has gotten into him, his stock line is suddenly outside of off and the batsmen are reading him and using the angle of spin to play him with ease. then he tries to compensate his length and bowls too full. hes deadly when pitching the ball dead on off and letting his skill do the rest.

But the biggest problem is not bowling but batting. In two matches so far they have batted 45 overs in one and 32 in the next. It doesn't mater who bowls if the batsmen continue to give away wickets cheaply.

^^^ True but if the WI bowlers could bundle out Bangladesh for 150 runs or less, then WI would hav a better chance of winning :)
WI batsmen are currently strugglin to cope with the Bang. spinners whilst Bang. batsmen are pickin Narine pretty well, it's the faster bowlers who were getting the wickets in the Test matches.

We can't depend on that in every game. Besides ODIs have always been labelled as a batsman game. So our batsman need to come good.
