this gonna be 10 times worse for the families if they say they were alive more than 24 hours after being trapped

That would depend on who had tanks.
The survivor had his, and the diver that was with him may have been on the tank they subsequently found.

Tanka good for about an hr, but they would have been stressed and use more and use it faster

blatant propaganda from a PNM filled state company

pnm only know how to lie, totally incompetent in running things. and this time it led to 4 men dying, nearly 5 if not for the rescue efforts of someone NOT on the rescue team

the rescue efforts authorized by paria led to the deaths of the 4 men. this is minimum manslaughter charges.

Paria management more concerned about their bs corporate image than the 4 lives that were lost. Would gladly exchange the 4 perished for 4 of them.

Zoom,

Paria is not the only company.

Think outside the box. Your failed leader should have put things in place to avoid this from happening in ANY company.

We need forward and future thinkers Zoom.

what caused the incident? poor isolation and de energizing of the system
what caused that? poor training, lack of intelligence, push wuk philosophy
what caused that? hiring people with a focus on money or brownnosing instead of competence at the job at hand.
what caused that? political instruction... from PNM
DEAL WITH IT!!

The Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Stuart Young, confirmed that a five-member panel will be appointed to investigate the incident at Paria which left four LMCS divers dead. The members of the panel are:

1. Shiv Sharma – Attorney & Chair of the Committee.
2. Gregory Wilson – Professional Subsea Specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
3. A BP Representative.
4. A Shell Representative.
5. Eugene Tiah – oil and gas industry professional.

The Panel has been tasked to prepare a report within 45 days after their appointment, which should take place by next week. Their objectives include:

To ascertain the scope of works by Paria for the exercise.

To ascertain the proposed selection plan submitted by LMCS to conduct the works at the site.

To examine policy, procedure and practices related to employees/organised labour for maintenance exercises.

To identify the precise facts and circumstances which led up to and resulted in the loss of life.

To examine all the decisions taken after it became clear that the five LMCS divers went missing.

To investigate the nature, extent, application of any standing orders, policy considerations, legislation, or other instructions in dealing with the situation that gave rise to this incident.

To identify whether Paria and LMCS employed sufficient safegards and measures to ensure the safety of its contracted employees, property, and the prevention of the incident.

To determine the adequacy and mechanical integrity of equipment utilised by LMCS.

To determine the adequacy of LMCS’ plans which were utilised for the operation.

To identify, whether by act or omission, any identified or unidentified party directly or indirectly caused loss of life.

To examine the role played by Paria and LMCS through its respective units, individually and collectively, in dealing with this incident.

How many of those responsible are padnas with those on the panel?

I have a feeling that nothing will come out of this and all the sell outs will get a shaft now, if not later on.

The families will get a small change though.

".......Recovery efforts are now underway to find Nagessar’s body.

Autopsies on the bodies of Kurban, Ali Jr and Henry will be done pending the results of COVID-19 tests. "

Standard procedure I guess..or they will say they died from covid.
