Don't find these funny but I see your point in what they're not doing.

Most of these "funny video" producers seem to be influenced by 90s-2000s Disney & Nickelodeon, which were terribly written and badly overacted but delivered them in a wrapping that was researched to be have sure appeal to their target audience. So, fashion, culture, pop culture and attractive characters didn't win anyone outside of the target audience, but draped a bunch of toots show in an appealing sheen the target audience sure as hell lapped up.

Not going and risk typing up a ED-style D-minus research paper on this, but I hadda ask if Nick/Disney could inspire this crop of toots, what this generation of unfunny internet videos going to inspire?
