so who ''GAVE'' her the special visit .... must be a prisons guard rite .... how canu pass true scanners with guns and a grenade ... plus hand them over to the inmates :|

without being noticed :!:

Special visit would have been granted by a senior with rank, no pleb junior can make that call. If she was in "Muslim" garb then they would not have told her to remove anything, furthermore female visitors aren't searched

Sorry but I not buying the ph driver story.......worse yet the woman who jump in and buckle up.

There's something weird here. 0:13, police officer bolts out the jeep and takes off up the street long before any prisoner is outside, not searching for cover, leaves the driver's side door open with his partner still inside? Then crosses the road and comes back in the jeep and drives off at what looks like a normal speed.

Newsday report said "the escape plan went into action at about 12.30 pm when the three prisoners shot their way out of the compounds and escaped. As they exited the prison, PC Sherman Maynard and Cpl Francis of the Port of Spain Divisional Task Force, who were driving along Frederick Street in a marked police vehicle, came under fire by the prisoners.

PC Maynard, who was the front seat passenger, was shot dead while Cpl Francis also suffered gunshot injuries. The escapees then robbed a citizen of a blue Navarra pick-up and then headed towards the Port of Spain General Hospital where they lost control of the vehicle and crashed. "

looking at the indoor video, it would seem that they opened the door and realised there was a police car right there, they shot at it, which was probably when the officer driving fled.

the real weird part is that the guy with the blue shirt and black bag also came out from that exit!!!

it may be that they heard the gunshots from inside the prison, but they were not sure where the shots were coming from so he went to investigate? is a possibility.

the previous incidents involved people shooting at prison officers outside when they came off duty, so the police would have had the mindset that the threat was external, they would not have expected that men would come out blazing from inside the prison walls.

What you mean long before ? The prisoners cross the street at 0:18. Five seconds later.

It looks like he was shot at before and took cover. Then the prisoner ran. Then he returned spend a few seconds looking at his partner in the passenger side (who is probably the one who died later). Then went back in and drove.

If you look at the other video on pg 8. You could see the prisoners firing out the entrance at 0:51 then running.

Kinda strange that instead of finding somewhere quiet to hide out these fellas choose hotspots with heavy police/gunman presence.
