I'd be surprised if they keep Jenson to be honest. He seems frustrated and has been outperformed by his much younger teammate all season. Plus him and Alonso together could be trouble lol.

BBC reports that Toro Rosso will promote Carlos Sainz Jr. to join Verstappen in 2015, which would be in keeping with Red Bull philosophy of fostering in-house youth talent.

Outperformed in what way.... They don't hand out points for quali... and Jenson is currently ahead of his teammate in points.

Just read that vettel is leaving infinity red bull at the end of 2014.... Anyone want to hazard a guess which team he will be moving to.

Roseberg on Pole..... lets see how this runs for the Mercs.... Nico has a history of buckling to the "black guy under pressure"

Vettel in a Prancing Horse....that wud be very interesting for 2015....

I wonder what was Vettel's motivation for leaving Red Bull. As long as Adrian Newey even has a look over the design of the car, has 0.0001% input in the design, I was staying put at Red Bull. A winning car means more to me than money, and I am sure money is no longer an issue for a 4 time world champion.

The man probably doesn't like the fact that he is playing second fiddle to the new guy. Sounds like a Vettelesque position.

Lewis Hamilton wins after race is red flagged. Jules Bianchi hit the recovery truck after Hulkenburg went off and is unconscious at hospital.

Prayers go out to Jules Bianchi. I hope he makes a full recovery.

Congrats to Hamilton for another great drive... pity it had to happen under such sad circumstances though.

I hope they fix the damn feed to Channel 161 so that I can actually "see" the replay at 2.00 pm!!!

Word is Bianchi is back on life support as his condition deteriorated further.

In we conditions as seen today, shouldnt the safety car been out while the recovery vehicle was working?

^^ thats a serious shunt tho!!!.... that overtake...a thing of beauty... "attack attack atttaaaaack!!"

agreed on Sanctifier's comments...

IMHO the Japanese organisers should have allowed the race to start an hour earlier... also FIA race control should not have allowed the race to start under those conditions (an hour later) in the 1st place

I read an explanation about that.
Apparently the green flag is waved at the first Marshall station after the crash to signal that the caution zone has ended. It jus happened to be right next to the Sutil's crash.

Something along those lines yes.
