Steve's has the Ciare 18.00SW1 that models low end very well (flat to 27Hz) in WinISD. So far the best low end modelled in a ported alignment from a pro audio 18. Nice xmax too.
There's not much reviews online about it though, any local reviews?
$1600 @ Steve's.

plus, in mono everything is coming through all the speakers, it has the possibility of adding a couple db (volume).

remember, as little as a 3db increase requires doubling amplifier power so any gains we get are usually welcome.

yeah i did a trailer with Mr. desmond but looking to hit SSL this year again. i prefer ground systems.........trailers is too much damn work

powered sub got a 1200 watt amp at the back with a speakon jumper to the passive

anyone have any experience with Mackie SRM450s? Considering a pair of either this or Mackie Thump TH15A, for use as a mobile system for small events (>200ppl) looking for opinions/comparisons of both sets

those srm's sound AWESOME!
they sound very clean, i got a demo by Natty.
expensive though, between 8-10k a pair

never heard the thumps though. decent reviews on the net.
