Your making it sound as if its an automatic ban for these already, NO. Firstly when the proxy trick was working, users were able to go online and PLAY. YES SONY would of been able to see who was using a modded console because of the ID of the backup manager, so in the future they may start to log it and issue bans maybe. But its not as how you say

If I were getting a modded ps3, I'd keep it offline. Not that I know anything in particular. But I do know that Sony will be fighting this mod chip at every update.

Thing is, I like the idea of keeping all my content on a hard drive. I hate Discs and the clutter they bring.

Ok so after pongin fifa for the last few days, I can tell the skeptics that this is the best fifa I have ever played. Its not fast and arcadey and don't expect to just run thru d side. It has similar feel to how winning 11 was in ps2 days. Finding, inviting and playing wit friends is not a hassle anymore, however EA's servers tend to crash a little too often. I do not like the new penalty system tho. The power bar moves too fast and 99% of ur shots will go overbars. So far I've gone to penalties 4 times online and each time we had to go to sudden death wit the winner miraculously scoring only 1 lucky goal for the entire shootout. I did not play fifa 11 or PES 11 demos so I can't compared them
