God laid out the laws of science. This cannot be changed.

seems funny then that the same laws of science that he set out threaten to deny a need for his existence then!

bushwakka, no they dont.....and that's where there's a mis understanding.

My problem is with people who think God absolves science......not saying i believe in god.....but i hav absolutely no problem with people who are open minding enough to believe that god used science to create this world...from big bang and all. why is so difficult to comprehend that 'god' could have used science and evolution to create the human species? because whether u like it or not, the evidence for evolution is right there in your face...the earth is 3 to 4 billion years old, and the big bang did happen....why try to disprove it?

u all sound like the roman catholics who executed Galelio because he was a proposed that the earth was not center of the universe.....

hopefully future generations will look back and realize what fools today's religious zealots were.

u all area afriad of asking the real questions as to why and what is the universe, why does it exisit, when did it come into formation or did it always exist, how common is life, how rare is it and how rare is intelligent life? etc.....those are real questions....some can be answered by science (hopefully soon) others may never be.......but in the mean time please group up, be open minded and mature and realize that fighting down evolution for no good reason other than the bible say so completely ignorant and childesh.

^What is science and who gave it that name? What is evolution and who gave it that name?
Without my previous question being answered, I got to ask now - why, does man think he stumbled on to something? I'm rooting for science. Figure stuff out. Maybe, we'll have a chance to save ourselves. Maybe it's exactly what is wanted. I find it confusing though that you've just made a claim that puts the cart before the horse. Open minded isn't some religious freak accepting the laws of "man's" science - open minded is science accepting that they did not make "science". Man discovered things and gave it a name. Man is understanding processes. Chains of events and they gave that a name too. You want to think outside of the box?You want to be open minded. Humble yourself and understand that our planet is as small as Trinidad is on the world map when you look at the greater universe. Understand that some one or thing or whatever makes your mind feel warm and cozy, put it there. Understand that the "science" you've just been learning was laid out by someone who has way more years of experience than you at it. Your goals shouldn't be to prove or disprove. It should be to understand.
Hopefully future generations will look back and realize what fools all of us were.

Those who defined who/what God is/was are the biggest reason why religion is in such a mess.

hey Mg, jsut out of curioustiy and not to start an entirely new debate and direction...

when you close your eyes, when you die.. what's next for you?
Finding out about the past and the begining is cool, but what im more concerned about is the end.

NOBODY knows
why would I not be cool not caring
I don't know what will happen, nobody can claim they have the answer, so why bother worrying about it?

I am more worried about who's hands my cars will fall into

the truth is there, u just have to know where and how to find it. People like things to be easy and to discover the truth is a lifelong endeavor, only a few people have managed to do it, and they practically devoted their lives, so if WE think WE are gonna figure it out by the amount of time that WE put in to the study of our history, then WE are surely mistaken.
