SEVILLE, Spain — Spanish clubs who are disputing a domestic league TV revenue sharing system that heavily favors Barcelona and Real Madrid have agreed to honor the current deal and include Spain's big two in its next meeting.
Representatives from a dozen topflight clubs gathered at Sevilla's Sanchez Pizjuan stadium on Thursday to discuss means of improving its share of revenues with Spanish champion Barcelona and Madrid pulling in half of the TV money for a combined €250 million ($350 million).
The Spanish giants were not invited to the meeting but that will change with the next gathering in "two to three weeks," Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido said.
"Since Madrid and Barcelona don't have the same problems or objectives as the rest we didn't think they should participate in this first meeting," Del Nido said. "But we've already agreed that in future meetings they should be present."
Del Nido said there "was no going back" as clubs such as Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Villarreal gathered. Del Nido said the six clubs who were absent were in agreement with a "grassroots" movement he likens to the French Revolution.
The current deal ends in 2014 and Del Nido said the 18 clubs would honor their respective deals until then. Del Nido said some second division clubs could also attend further meetings.

two years in a row UCL FINALISTS, two years in a row la liga winners, two years in a row UEFA LEAGUE winners
RASC u remember the final game of the 2002 season i believe it was, battle was up for the 4th and final Champions league spot. Rivaldo score a bicycle in the dying minutes to win the game 4-3 and knock Valencia out the final champions spot.

It ended 3-2 i believe. Rivaldo scored a hatrick. A free kick, a bullet from outside and the bicycle in the last minutes if i remember correctly. That was another game i think i went temporarily insane.
