I hearing some rather disturbing talk, about Venezuelans that speak somewhere between little to no English showing up with T&T national ID cards.

If this is true, and if these are actually legitimate ID cards issued by the EBC, then that would be very disturbing. Not unexpected, just disturbing.

Right now, T&T is currently losing a minimum of approximately USD $3.2M per month due to Venezuelan nationals buying USD cash and sending it home, and the probability of that figure being much higher is very real. Estimates I got saying that it's probably closer to USD $7M per month.

Considering that we import practically EVERYTHING we consume here, with oil prices being what they are now and limited exports, one must wonder, exactly how long can we allow this to happen before we as a country end up in hot water?
