Delta is a whole new game that was months ago and we didn't have quality vaccines to begin with tbh ....sinopharm will be put to the test. We should also make law as to mask wearing now as delta surges that cloth masks are not enough we need surgical or N95

I foresee roll backs when delta emerges more, regardless of vaccinations....vaccinated aren't dying from the virus but that doesn't mean they would not require hospitalization in some cases

The cases are irrelevant since we have vaccines those cases won't be hospitalized since the vaccines prevent hospitalization.

Why are we re-opening when the cases are rising? It's clear that the Ministry's policy is that vaccines are now available and that will now be the basis for everything going forward. Those number of cases are not important if they don't require hospitalization, since it can cause the health system to collapse. That will only happen if everyone gets vaccinated to prevent hospitalization.

We had less cases than what we are getting now a few months ago and we went on lockdown. The difference between now and a few months ago is that we have vaccines and that is what the Ministry is using as the basis for re-opening and no more lockdowns. It's now the burden of responsibility lies in society to go get vaccinated.

The Delta is here as we know. WHAT is being done about ineffective masks and sanitizers?

There are just TOO many loopholes with PCR tests, quarantines and vaccines.

We must focus on controlling the spread of germs from person to person and a strict emphasis MUST be applied to our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

How is the ventilation in an airplane if they coughed without their masks on for some reason or sneezed wouldn't the ppl close to them be subject to the virus

are they contact tracing nearby seated passengers like before or we not bothering with that as the “virus already here”

How many persons would they have spread this to while on the plane?

if they coughed without their masks with this delta variant the whole plane at risk- not just ones close by. first of all a cough alone with any variant travels several feet, don't feel it stopping at 6 feet. secondly, viral loads are >1000 times that of the original strain . that whole plane should be tested.

Actually the fact that they were unvaccinated means that they went into quarantine automatically on arrival. If they were in fact vaccinated then they would have been amongst the population spreading it. Just a different perspective for you to indulge in

we here are just stating the obvious. the govt knows and understands all this. but they still implemented the actions.

People are not looking at the number of new daily cases in the context of where we are currently but where we were months ago. Where we are currently is having alot of vaccines to distribute to citizens who the burden of responsibility is placed on to get it and reduce hospitalizations and death. You can't look at the daily number of cases from the old context when we didn't have vaccines available.

it could be more than just a lil bump unless vax rates dramatically go up like 15000 per day. and even so it takes 6 weeks for full protection with sino and 10 weeks for AZ- u have to include 2 weeks after the second shot, especially with sino.
