I think that was the point-to show that WK is faking it....not that I think he is or he isnt.

There has been adverts,printed and on tv focusing the issue on WK.

Im not sure why the Min of Trade and Investment has to be advertising on this issue for...

The govt needs to show compassion:
1) Create a forum -PUBLIC and transparent
2) Show how(if) it has rectified the Armstrong claims
3) Justify its choice of routes etc,expenditure etc
4) Answer the questions from the JCC and the HRM-truthfully ,transparently and in a manner that is on public record.
5) Based on the above hurry up and move on.

There are those who believe that Dr. Wayne Kublalsingh has been eating and drinking during his second hunger strike in protest over the Debe to Mon Desir section of the extension of the Solomon Hochoy Highway to Point Fortin.

However, wife of the hunger striker, Syvia Moodie- Kublalsingh has lashed out at critics.

She has invited all critics to speak to her personally before casting aspersions on her husband.

She said the last 30 plus days of the Highway Re-Route Movement leader’s protest taught her a lot about the “very strange” people of Trinidad.

She revealed that she had less respect than ever for fellow citizens who disrespected her husband and the seriousness with which he subjected his body to the agony of hunger.

She claimed that even though she herself did not support hunger strikes, she had to respect his wish.

She disclosed that she admired his discipline and strength to go through the process of voluntary deprivation of drink and food with an almost super-human fortitude that she would never have believed possible.

She added that she prayed that he survived this latest strike.

Moodie- Kublalsingh also had strong words for those in leadership positions.

She stated that they were not genuine and played games.

She also lamented the fact that they were not truthful and she described them as opaque and deceptive claiming that hey contradicted themselves.

She explained that she herself could not understand how her husband has survived without water or food—no fruits, nothing to drink, nothing to eat, hour after hour, day after day, night after night.

Moodie-Kublalsingh described her husband as a true patriot who wanted nothing for himself but the best for his country.
