Medical associates and hospitals are a high risk company so risk management is required . It’s much more cost effective for now

Study Finds COVID-19 May Lower Intelligence

July 30, 2021 -- Infection from COVID-19 may have a substantial negative effect on intelligence, according to a new large-scale study from the United Kingdom, findings that are consistent with reports of “brain fog” among long-haul COVID-19 patients.

Researchers analyzed data from 81,337 people who took the Great British Intelligence Test in 2020. Of those, about 13,000 reported they had contracted COVID-19, and 275 of those had completed the test before and after infection.

Those who had previously had the coronavirus found it harder to complete tasks related to reasoning, problem-solving, and spatial planning, the authors said. Researchers controlled for age, education, and overall mood.

“These results accord with reports of long-COVID, where ‘brain fog,’ trouble concentrating, and difficulty finding the correct words are common,” the authors wrote. “Recovery from COVID-19 infection may be associated with particularly pronounced problems in aspects of higher cognitive or ‘executive’ function.”

This just going to turn into a competition for who could have most punitive measures for unvaccinated employees

The longer the pandemic lasts, the more slowly you will see economic recovery. Emerging markets are expected to lag behind developed economies in vaccines and growth.

its called tunnel vision
60-80% cases are asymptomatic

10% get pretty well sick and 2-3% die locally

its amazing how them social media artists does change their tune

pea tune now is only worry if you have comorbidities and blaming the fast food companies for that
so in others words a person believing in him turning all caution into blame and ends up doing nothing.

The chances of mutations happening in vaccinated persons are lower inherently because there are lower rates of infections among the vaccinated than the unvaccinated, lower rates still of symptoms, even lower rates of serious symptoms, and then even lower rates than that of death.

What this means is that the virus has increasingly smaller chances of reproducing in a vaccinated person to the degree that’s likely to produce a new strain, in a vaccinated person vs an unvaccinated.

Think of mutations like lung cancer. Sure, you could get it even if you don’t smoke. But if you smoke, you’re way more likely to develop lung cancer. It’s a similar concept here.

covid WILL be just like the flu or the cold, it will mutate all the time, and they will ahve to make boosters to anticipate the variants that might pop up in scocieties, EVERY YEAR... and it will eventually become just and uneventful.

the 40 or so deaths a year from the flu are not news. acceptable.

covid is just very new, to its impacting a lot right now.

How much cash does it take to live in granny's back room until that case gets settled? How much up front to file and for the lawyer?

except it has a higher contagiousness/r0 and death rate compared to the flu, so it is not “just another like flu”

afaik flu isn’t as damaging to persons with comorbidities

is there any other ailment with such high death rate for persons with the listed comorbidities?

The longer it goes on the better for you. I had a friend who fought a case of wrongful dismissal (for a job paying just shy of 6k a month) for 2-3 years and when the settlement reach he got between 200k - 220k and the employer had to pay his legal fees. That must be the easiest money he ever made in life.

6k * 12= 72k , 72k * 3= 216k.... and then u have loss of potential over time, holiday pay, etc, damages...

but the employee has to be willing to go to court, and stick it out. most people dont go that route. they just move on .

Yes - you are well educated :D

POS is the dirtiest and stinky-est city in the Caribbean if NOT the World .
Chaguanas is the second while SF fighting for third chutney place.

Even in COVID pandemic times where the cities should be clean and sterile - it is NOT .
And ALL the disposable stuff you see in the floods - Trini backward natives throw in the river and drains.

Trini peeps MAY follow the 3 W's in public - but in private only the flies on the wall with tell you .

Hence the COVID deaths and outbreak spread continues

China is a First World Country .

Trinidad is Fantasy Horror .

There is no comparison .
