Well, Rogue One is still under review embargo by the studio, but from those that were at the premier abroad, who were allowed to tweet out reviews, it sounds amazing. Most comparing it to "Empire Strikes Back" and some saying it felt like seeing the original in 1977. Not too shabby
Rogue one,,, great!!! 8/10. This was the first star wars movie that made proper use of the star wars idea. All the others came close but were too campy for me. This one actually made that galaxy far far away a believable idea.
And finally, u got to see why Vader was so feared, instead of people saying that he should be feared.
John Wick 2 is a must see, the fight / gun choreography was amazing. Was real impressed with Common performance also, the story line was mehh but I don't think anyone going to see this for the story anyway. 8.5/10
Split (was epic....don't leave cinema, watch till the end) Deepwater Horizon (watched it twice) John Wick 2 Hidden (2015) (low budget but descent story) Train to Busan (Korean movie with English Subs) (watched it twice) Hell or High Water Arrival (plenty science if you not into that carry on) Kubo And The Two Strings Storks Trolls
Any reviews on the gemstone cinemas at IMAX ? Apart from ambience and food, how's the actual movie experience ? Went to Movietowne platinum twice and wasn't impressed.
Best out of all the wolverine movies, talk bout killing, definitely going to see it again. Story line was really good also, no other recognizable mutants in it tho, just wolverine and prof x.
Logan was awesome. Recognizable mutants apart from Logan and Xavier was Caliban, X23 and Donald Pearce.... fitting end to the Wolverine trilogy....especially High Jackman's last one.... if all the other Wolverine movies was like this, they would have been one of the best trilogy out there
