raising prices of alco [or cigarettes] in d hopes of deterring really doesnt work
all it does is make ppl dig deeper to spend on habits they enjoy which results in less of d same overall $ to spend on more important things ...

Places of worship to reopen on Thursday instead
NARISSA FRASER 8 HRS AGO
PLACES of worship will be allowed to reopen on Thursday, not Friday as initially announced by the Prime Minister.
At Saturday’s media briefing at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s, Dr Rowley had said the decision “should bring a lot of relief” to many people. He said services should be one hour, maximum.
But in a press release on Sunday morning, Rowley said the date was changed.
He said, “This will allow for nationwide church celebrations of Corpus Christi which comes on the eve of the originally scheduled reopening date.
“Believers and devotees are reminded that as we return to our places of worship later this week we must strictly observe the guidelines of sanitising, distancing and wearing of a mask by all persons attending places of worship.”
Cause these over users of alcohol affect other people lives and property.trinigoon wrote:Why yall dont live your lives and let others live theirs ..unless ur living close to Or on Ariapita ave..hows it that's national concern if we have random road blocks and breathalyzer already .zoom rader wrote:Yup we need bar closing laws and higger taxes on all alcohol.Rovin wrote:why in spite of d crime risk do ppl need to be liming in any bar drinking alcohol so late in d night like 2am 3am even 4am ? do they not need sleep or have a life ?

Plenty mamoo/tanty run village bars close early now, and they are quite leery of outsiders.
Sometimes they remain open for the regulars but lock the gates

Two things that cause plenty "outside" trouble.
Venes and gambling machine.
The concept of a village watering hole / hawk-and-spit kinda dead.
The older heads just wanted to drink rum in peace. They coulda sit by a table by themselves, with a glass, plastic bowl with ice, bottle of tap water and a nip ah puncheon maybe with a loaded ashtray. No music, no gambling machine, no tv, no radio maybe the occasional chat with a padna or bartender.

You start to travel to the US exactly two weeks after receiving your Covid-19 vaccination.Phone Surgeon wrote:for people who travel atleast once during the year.....
how long before you feel you going to risk going abroad?
considering the longer headaches associated with travelling
and imagine this scenario ,
5 family members plan a family trip, flights and hotel paid for
day before one member get a cold, high fever whatever, airline probably gonna blank that family member at the airport...
whats the scene there?
i normally use to go miami once a month, sometimes 3-4 times for the month, caribbean islands 3-4 times for the year to meet suppliers
now i dont see myself travelling for a 2 years
