You stop there and feel so. It goes to Magistrate court first , so you know jack.

You have to pay your rent , goverment has no control yet as to these circumstances.

Just pay your rent or get out

Observe how the mighty shaking and asking for Limacol.

Tenants:

1. Take a VIDEO of everything you own .

2. Take PHOTOS of everything you own .

If you have assets ( things you own ) that is over $15,000 then it will become a High Court Matter .

If the Landlord levies ( confiscates your belonging to sell ) on your assets you will have proof .

3. Lawyers' advice is FREE at the Legal Aid Office in Barataria . It is opposite the Barataria Gas Station
which is next to the Barataria Roundabout .

Yes RedVEVO, I take videos of my appartments with the tenant before I give them the keys. So they can't say the appartment was at fault after they rented it. Just how they meet it they have to leave it as when they first saw it.

See Landlords threating to kick out people   ..

Take in front - before in front take you :D :D

1. If Landlord is threating you . Go to the Police Station and make a report. It is important evidence that YOU the tenant is following the Law . Make sure you get the receipt with the Landlord name on the receipt . Identify the Landlord .

2. If you want go to the FREE Legal Aid in Barartaria and file AN INJUNCTION . This will prevent the Landlord from trying to break your door down and physically hurting you and your family.

These are NOT normal circumstances .

The LAW will protect YOU the Tenant .

Levy is a legal court sanctioned means of collecting outstanding rent. Rent becomes due one minute after midnight on the day it is due. A week leniency is guven by landlords but its not mandatory.

If goods that are levied on are not redeemed by the tenant within the specified time ( the bailiff puts three ads in the daily newspaper ) the bailiff puts it for public auction. The cost of the levy , which is the bailiff fee ,police ,transport to move the goods ,registration of the levy in the courts and the outstanding rent are deducted from the proceeds of the sale and the rest has to be returned to the tenant.

The only thing that cannot be taken in a levy is light bulbs and tools of trade . The value of the items has nothing to do with what its sold for. The highest bid is the value on that day. Your 12grand fridge could sell for 1 grand.. A bailiff can seize items that do not belong to you if it is on the rented compound. The owner has five days to file an interpleader in the court to retrieve his property.

A wicked landlord or a bailiff could wait until the first day of the second month and get two months rent instead of one although its just one day over .

RedSTUPIDEE talking nonsense he doesnt even know about. I hope no tenant here takes his advice .

Observe who acting up :D :D

Now if a Landlord becomes violent .

Lock ALL your doors and windows and call the Police .

The Police will come since they are expecting much violence from Landlords .

And chances are you will stay RENT FREE for 6 months because he threating you for MONEY :D :D

And he trying to advantage you and your family .

These are NOT normal circumstances.

The LAW will protect you .

HDC people do not worry . The Gov't will be calm and provide for you soon .

Even if the judge want to, the judge can't. It's not about feelings, it's about the law.

1. There is no legal notice by the government stating that landlords must give a bligh to tenants. Only tenants of the HDC (state run) got that benefit, not private individuals. All the PM ask the landlords from the private sector to do is a deferral which is not mandatory. If that legal notice was in place, THEN the law will be on the tenants side during this time.

2. Since a legal notice is absent, the Judge will then investigate if the landlord followed the process to kick out the tenant i.e Notice to Quit.

3. If the landlord did their part, judge rules in the landlords favor and UDFR with you.

You can go police station all yuh want, Judge looking at facts. If you not paying rent and landlord follow the process, out you go.

Yes legal aid is free, but you obviously don't know the slackness that takes place there. When last someone from legal aid win a case?
