If you guys need a baby/ Maternity photographer, who understands that a comfortable baby is a smiling baby, the patience of Job and the reflexes of a German Goalkeeper to capture the fleeting smiles and expressions of babies, without the use of distracting flash, Give me a PM/ Message.

This is my Daughter's pediatrician, a bit on the pricey side but it's not the usual revolving door visit you would get from other doctors. He does a thorough examination, schedules your child's your vaccines, show you your child's progression and developmental milestones, diet plans for your child etc....ask as many questions as possible.

Everyone I've ever recommended him to was extremely satisfied with the quality of the visit.

Dr. Brahim is the most thorough person I know. Only trust my kid to him since day 1. He is even very fussy about Mother's health and the general well being of the whole family.

Air wick, she stopped completely at 1 year 5 months. Never asked for a bottle of formula again.

Guys Baby was born last week and I'm looking for a good pediatrician to have a checkup done at one month old.
Somewhere Central preferably, any recommendations?
Thanks.

I take both my kids to dr warris's office at st Augustine private hospital. I'm satisfied with his work, he's a nice person too.

Breast milk is best or you can try Enfamil AR.

I used cotton rags soaked in warm water instead of wipes or you can store the clean rags in your wipes warmer.

Once baby gets a little older - washing the bum is best.

Habit7 did that but only helps a little and can use up to four times a day. Think the one I got was Kids brand.

tough it out, this is normal, especially if baby on formula. The digestive system is new, it needs to adapt, it would soon get less and then no more.

Colic calm. Not sold locally tho. Have to buy online. All natural herbal business , plus wrapping his belly with a warm colic cloth. As with all things, this worked great with my baby but some friends we introduced this product to the colic got worse and in some cases made baby vomit, while with others it worked wonders. Oval had no effect on our kid, but some parents swear by it. Those were the only two we tried. Belly to belly rocking seemed to soothe him.. but I have quite a watermelon of a belly, dont try if you have washboard abs.

Took 1.5 months but she's over it; all you can do is try for enough comfort my.
My daughter would just breast feed during the rough times and stay with her in bed

Ovol worked for my little one, she went on formula from early and was fussy. The ovol helped, after a couple months she was good to go.

Frequent feeding, especially breastfeeding can work wonders for colicky babies.

When frequently breastfeeding, Mother can try side-lying to breastfeed, i.e, breastfeeding lying down on her side with baby facing her on his side. Sitting up to breastfeed every one to two hours is physically taxing. When the baby goes off to sleep, he can go back in his crib or bassinet.

And some cool air in the evening and at night sometimes seems to distract / soothe them long enough for them to drift back to sleep. At such a young age, make sure your baby boy has a warm head and feet - hat and socks or a footed pyjama - and take him outside the house or by an open window.
Just bear in mind that many babies that age will wake often to feed whether they're colicky or not

Mothers bliss... Our baby didn't have to deal with Gripe once it started.

The look of satisfaction on her face after ripping a fart was gratifying.

Guys can you give me some advice on what to look out for when buying a forward facing car seat? In terms of actual use, some things you may not consider before buying it.
Thanks.
Also recommendations for brands.

I have two car seats that are damn good.
Recaro Pro ride. Main seat, rock solid, excellent quality. Heavy. (22lb)
Evenflo Tribute LX. backup seat for the 2nd car, decent quality, lightweight. I used this to travel with my 22 month old toddler to the US and lug around for cab rides etc.

Actually was just looking at the Recaro. Good reviews so far, and someone earlier in the thread recommended it.

Agree with RB, Colic Calm was the only product to sooth my son when he was born. We tried almost every other on the shelf product.

Got this a few days ago

Dear Valued RECARO Owner,

RECARO Child Safety, LLC has determined that select ProRIDE and Performance RIDE Convertible Car Seats manufactured between April 9th, 2010 to June 9th, 2015 fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 571.213 Child Restraint Systems.  You are receiving this email notification because you registered a car seat product with RECARO and the model number and manufacture date information recorded at the time of registration matches the affected units included in this recall.

You will receive a notification letter via mail in the next 7-10 business days.  You can review the notification letter here .  This recall requires a repair kit be applied to the affected product(s).  This simple repair kit comes with instructions, requires no tools, and can be applied by the product owner at home in only a few minutes.  We have made available a helpful recall repair kit installation video here.  Instead of waiting for the notification letter to arrive, you can directly request a free recall repair kit via the online order form here and one will be shipped to you immediately.  You will need the model/part number, manufacture date, and serial number from the white label on the side of your car seat to complete the ordering process.

It is the recommendation of both RECARO and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to continue using your affected car seat per the instruction manual until your recall repair arrives.

If you have any questions, you can always call us directly at 1-866-628-4750 or emailrecarorecall@m-s-s.com.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
